Cupola
A traditional oval shaped cupola designed to bring natural light deep into the interior of a period property. Featuring elegant radial glazing bars and crisp painted joinery, the cupola forms a striking architectural feature that complements the decorative cornice and classic detailing of the stairwell of an Edinburgh property. Manufactured and installed by Veritas Building & Joinery.

Bathroom conversion

A traditional bathroom renovation combining classic metro wall tiles, a shaker-style vanity unit and a bath with overhead shower. The dark wall colour contrasts with crisp white joinery and fittings, while warm timber flooring adds character and warmth to the space. Designed and installed by Veritas Building & Joinery.

The original bathroom prior to renovation, featuring dated fittings, pale blue walls and a compact bath layout. This space was later transformed into a modern bathroom with updated tiling, contemporary fittings and improved use of space as part of a full refurbishment by Veritas Building & Joinery.

6 over 6 style complete replacement double glazed sash and case window.
A traditional timber sash and case window crafted and installed to suit a period sandstone tenement property. Featuring classic Georgian-style glazing bars and a crisp painted finish, the window preserves the character of the building while providing improved performance and durability. Installed by Veritas Building & Joinery.

Pre-finished sash and case windows.

A handcrafted timber front door featuring flush panels with a subtle bead moulding detail, giving a refined traditional appearance. Finished in a heritage green and fitted with classic black ironmongery including a ring knocker, handle and letter plate, the door sits neatly within a stone entrance, complementing the character of the property. Manufactured and installed by Veritas Building & Joinery.

Waney edge beech sills.
Part of a bespoke interior conversion featuring wall openings finished with natural waney edge timber sills. The organic edges of the timber add character and warmth, creating a distinctive architectural feature while maintaining a clean, contemporary interior. Steampunk towel radiator.
A handcrafted copper towel radiator fabricated in the Veritas workshop and installed as part of a bespoke interior conversion. The exposed copper pipework adds warmth and character, complementing the natural timber joinery and traditional patterned floor tiles while providing practical heating and towel storage.

A clean, contemporary wet room featuring a walk-in shower with large format wall tiles, mosaic shower floor and minimalist sanitaryware.
